
Ingredients:
• 12 slices – sandwich bread
• 4 tbsp – Butter
• 6 – hardboiled eggs
• 3 tbsp – mayonnaise
• 1 tsp – mustard powder/paste
• 2 tbsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• Salt – to taste
Method:
- Chop the hard boiled eggs into very small pieces.
- Mix the chopped eggs with the mayonnaise, chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, mustard powder/paste and lime juice.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Spread the devilled eggs mixture liberally over 6 slices of bread.
- Top them with the remaining 6 slices.
- Cut away the crusts and slice each sandwich into four.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
