
Ingredients:
• 3 Drumsticks
• 1 tbsp – Channa dal
• 250 g – de-husked urad dal, soaked for 3 to 4 hours along with Channa dal
• green chillies, chopped fine
• 2 onion, chopped fine
• 1 tsp – chopped, Ginger
• 2 tsp – chopped, Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – chopped, Curry leaves
• oil for frying
• salt
Method:
- Wash, scrape and cut drumsticks into 3-inch pieces
- Boil with some salt till soft, (but not mushy)
- Scoop out the flesh and keep aside.
- Grind dal with salt and minimum amount of water to a thick fine paste.
- Add all the ingredients except oil, mix well.
- Make small round vada and deep fry in hot oil till light golden in colour.
- Serve vada hot with any chutney/sauce.
