
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Onions
• 1 tbsp – flour
• 1 – French loaf
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 litre – Chicken stock
• 1 cup – grated cheese
• Salt and pepper
Method:
- Finely chop onions. Heat butter and cook the onions till sift and golden brown.
- Add the flour and stir.
- Then slowly add the stock. Simmer for 30 mins.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the bread, sprinkle with cheese and grill it till cheese melts and bread turns crisp.
- Pour hot soup into cups, float the cheesy bread on top.
