Ingredients:
• Besan – 1 cup
• Sugar – 2 cups
• Ghee – 1 cup
• Cardamom – 2
Method:
- Mix ghee, powdered cardamom, sugar and little water in a non stick pan and heat it.
- When it starts boiling, slowly add the besan and keep stirring continuously.
- When the mass starts leaving the sides of the pan transfer it into a greased plate.
- Do not press it with spatula. Instead,, shake the plate to spread it.
- Keep the plate in water and thus both the outer and bottom layer will cool fast and the middle layer will become light brown in colour as it takes a little more time to cool.
- Cut them before it cools completely.
