Ingredients:

• Besan – 1 cup
• Sugar – 2 cups
• Ghee – 1 cup
• Cardamom – 2

Method:

  1. Mix ghee, powdered cardamom, sugar and little water in a non stick pan and heat it.
  2. When it starts boiling, slowly add the besan and keep stirring continuously.
  3. When the mass starts leaving the sides of the pan transfer it into a greased plate.
  4. Do not press it with spatula. Instead,, shake the plate to spread it.
  5. Keep the plate in water and thus both the outer and bottom layer will cool fast and the middle layer will become light brown in colour as it takes a little more time to cool.
  6. Cut them before it cools completely.
