Ingredients:

• self-rising flour – 2 cup
• Butter – 3 tbsp
• salt – 1/2 tsp
• water to mix
• For Filling:
• sweet Corn Cream style – 1/2 cup
• Chicken – 1 cup, cooked and finely shredded
• Celery – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
• green chili – 1 tsp, minced or to taste
• tasty cheese – 1/2 cup, grated
• Butter – 4 tbsp
• Ghee to shallow fry the parathas
• pepper to taste
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix flour and salt together.
  2. Lightly rub in the butter.
  3. Add enough water and knead very well to make smooth, soft and elastic dough.
  4. Keep covered for 1 hour.
  5. Mix together all the ingredients except the cheese and butter.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 balls.
  7. Roll out onr ball into a very thin disc.
  8. Spread with 2 tsp of butter.
  9. Spread 1/6 filling over it and sprinkle with 1/6 of cheese.
  10. Roll up the disc with the filling. (Like a thin Swiss roll).
  11. Wind the roll from one end to the other to form a coil.
  12. Prepare all the coils thus.
  13. Roll out the coils lightly into 1.5 cm thick discs.
  14. Heat a griddle and cook the discs on both sides with ghee, till golden brown.Serve hot with ketchup.
