Ingredients:
• Paneer- 250 g (cut into cubes of 1 inch each)
• Green peas – 1/2 cup
• 1 – medium size Onion paste
• Ginger paste – 1 tsp
• Tomato puree – 2 tbsp
• Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
• Red Chilli powder -1/2 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Magaz Seeds – 2 tbsp (Magaz is dried melon seeds)
• Milk – 1 cup
• Butter – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Add 1/2 cup of milk with the magaz and make a fine paste. Keep aside.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add onion and ginger paste, and fry till golden.
- Add all the dry masala, tomato puree and fry for two minutes.
- Add paneer, peas and fry for some time.
- Add magaz paste and rest of the milk.
- Cook on low heat for 5 mins.
- Serve with roti or naan.
