Ingredients:

• 1 cup – All-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup – Yellow cornmeal
• 1/2 cup – Almond meal
• 1/2 cup – Butter (softened)
• 1 cup – Sugar
• A few whole Almonds
• Milk (as per need)

Method:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar together until they turn soft.
  3. Add the flour, cornmeal and almond meal to the butter-sugar mixture and mix them with your fingers to knead it.
  4. If you still can’t make a ball, sprinkle some milk and make the ball.
  5. Roll medium-sized balls and flatten them slightly.
  6. Place it over the baking tray lined with a baking sheet.
  7. Leave enough space between the cookies.
  8. Press an almond in the centre of each cookies and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Let it cool completely.
  10. Don’t remove the cookies from the baking sheet once you take them out of the oven. They may break.
  11. Enjoy with your favourite drink.
