Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Whole Wheat flour
• 1 tbsp – Active Dry yeast
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 cup – Luke warm water
• 2 tbsp – Olive oil
• Few sesame seeds
• Garlic-Coriander Spread:
• 50grms – Butter (room temperature)
• 3 – Garlic Cloves (grated)
• 2 tbsp – Coriander leaves (chopped)
Method:
- Add the yeast, sugar and salt to lukewarm water, stir and keep aside until the yeast turns foamy.
- Make the garlic-coriander leaves spread, by adding grated garlic and coriander leaves to the butter, mix well and keep it aside.
- Take the whole-wheat flour in a bowl, gradually add the foamy yeast, olive oil and water (if needed) and knead into a soft smooth dough.
- Cover the bowl and keep the dough in a warm place for two hours.
- Once the dough swells, punch down the dough, dust the dough with flour and roll it into a thick rectangular disc.
- Spread garlic-coriander spread liberally on the dough and roll it into a loaf.
- Cut the rolled loaf into 8-10 pieces, arrange them in a greased round baking pan, sprinkle sesame seeds as per need.
- Brush the remaining garlic-coriander spread over the rolls if needed, and let it sit again for few minutes in a warm place.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, arrange the baking pan in middle rack of the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
- Serve warm with a cup of tea.
