
Ingredients:
• 500 g – bacon without rind, chopped into bits
• 4 – eggs, beaten
• 2 – large tomatoes, sliced
• 4 tbsp – breadcrumbs
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 tsp – pepper
• 1 tsp – Worcestershire sauce
• 100 g – grated cheddar cheese
• 1 tbsp – Butter
Method:
- Boil the chopped bacon in a little water for about 15 minutes.
- Butter 6 small oven-safe dishes.
- Divide the cooked bacon into 6 portions and spoon it into the buttered dishes.
- Place the tomato slices on top of the bacon.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce, then add a layer of breadcrumbs on top.
- Pour the beaten eggs on the breadcrumbs and sprinkle salt and pepper.
- Spread the grated cheese as the topmost layer.
- Bake the 6 individual casseroles in a moderate oven (355 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 25-30 minutes.
