Ingredients:

• Fried Channa – 100 g
• Sugar – 180 to 200 g
• Ghee – 100 g
• Cardamom (powdered) – 1 tsp
• Cashewnuts – 6

Method:

  1. Powder channa and sugar separately. Mix powdered channa, sugar and cardamom.
  2. Heat one tbsp of ghee and fry cashewnuts till light brown.
  3. Break cashewnuts into small pieces and mix with the above mixture.
  4. Heat the remaining ghee in a wok (kadai) till its quite hot.
  5. Pour the hot ghee over the channa, sugar, cardamom, cashewnuts mixture and mix well using a ladle.
  6. While the mixture is still hot, make lime size ladoos using your hands.
  7. Allow them to cool to room temperature.
