Ingredients:
• 300g – mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup – flour (maida)
• 3 eggs, beaten
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1/4 tsp – Thyme
• Oil for frying
• 3/4 cup – breadcrumbs
Method:
- Cut the mozzarella cheese into 2 1/2″ length and 3/4 ” thickness.
- Make a smooth batter with flour and the beaten eggs.
- Add salt, pepper and thyme.
- Heat the oil.
- One by one dip the cheese in the batter, roll in breadcrumbs and deep fry till golden brown.
