
Ingredients:
• 4 cups – grated Carrots
• 1 tin – sweetened condensed Milk
• 1 cup – raisins, chopped cashewnuts, almonds, Pistachios
• 1-2 tbsp – Ghee
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 tbsp – Cardamom powder
• 1 tbsp – rose water
• 2 tbsp – chopped nuts for garnishing
• 1 sheet – of Vark (thin edible silver sheets) as decoration.
Method:
- In a non-stick sauce-pan, fry the nuts in butter for few seconds and keep aside.
- In the same pan, heat ghee and fry the carrot, raisins and cardamom for 5 mins, stirring occasionally to cook evenly.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk simmer for 5 mins and mix the rose water and fried nuts in it.
- Stir well and garnish with the vark sheet and chopped nuts.
