
Ingredients:
• 1 – Brinjal
• 3 – whole Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – cumin
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind pulp
• 7 flakes – Garlic
• 1 stalk – Curry leaves
• 3 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• Salt as desired.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin and red chillies, and fry. When they are done, drain and keep aside.
- In the same oil, saute the chopped brinjal until it is cooked. Allow it to cool.
- Grind all the ingredients except the mustard to a smooth paste.
- Heat the remaining oil and add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add the ground brinjal paste. Mix well and serve.
