
Ingredients:
• 500 gm – carrots, scraped and core removed
• 1 liter Milk
• 120 gm – malai
• 500 gm – Sugar
• 120 gm – rice, powdered
• 120 gm – Ghee
• 60 gm – almonds, blanched and shredded
• 60 gm – raisins, cut into 2 pieces
Method:
- Scrape the carrots, cut and remove both ends.
- Then cut into halves lengthwise, and remove the hard core from the middle.
- Cut into 1″ pieces.
- Boil carrots in milk.
- When tender, dry the milk completely.
- Grind carrots finely.
- In a kadhai, heat the ghee, add carrots, malai, sugar and rice powder and cook on low fire, stirring regularly till of thick consistency.
- Serve at once. While serving, dress with almonds and raisins.
