
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Garlic
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 – Red Chillies
• 1 small sized ball – Tamarind
• 1.5 tsp – powdered Jaggery
• 1 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Peel the garlic and grind it with red chillies to a coarse paste and keep aside.
- Add tamarind to 1/4 cup water and extract thick pulp from it and keep aside.
- Heat oil, add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle.
- Then add the garlic paste and saute till raw smell disappears and it starts turning light brown.
- Now add tamarind pulp, powdered jaggery and mix well.
- Keep sauteing till the mixture turns brown in colour.
- Store in an airtight container.
