Ingredients:
• 250 g – Flour/maida
• 6 tbsp – Golden syrup
• 200 g – Butter or margarine
• 1 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1 tsp – Vanilla essence
• 1/2 tsp – Bicarbonate of soda
Method:
- Melt the butter/margarine.
- Stir in the golden syrup, vanilla essence, cinnamon and bicarbonate of soda.
- Set aside for a while to cool.
- Add this to the flour and mix well.
- Roll out the dough thinly.
- Cut into round or square shapes.
- Places on a greased baking tray.
- Bake in an oven on medium heat for about 30 minutes till slightly brown on top.
