
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Bengal Gram (Chana) Dal
• 1 cup – shrimps, cleaned and chopped
• 2 Red Chillies
• 1/2 cup – onion, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – green chilli, minced
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 tsp – fennel (Saunf), crushed
• salt to taste
• oil to fry
Method:
- Soak the Dal with red chillies in water for 2 hours.
- Drain and grind to stiff, coarse paste.
- Add rest of the ingredients except the oil.
- Take 4 round lumps and flatten to 1/2 cm thick discs.
- Deep fry in moderately hot oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney.
