Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg Mutton
• 1/4 cup Curd
• 3 to 4 whole Red Chillies
• 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 tbsp coriander Cumin seed powder
• 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• salt to taste
• finely chopped Coriander leaves (to garnish)
Method:
- Clean and wash the mutton well
- Soak whole red chillies in 1/2 cup water for 15 to 20 minutes and grind them to a fine paste
- In a bowl mix curd, ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste, coriander cumin seed powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt
- Marinate the mutton in the curd mixture for 30 minutes
- Cook the mutton in a heavy bottom vessel on a low flame
- Cook covered with a lid that has some water on it
- Stir at regular intervals
- Add little water if needed and cook till done
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with salli (grated potato) and hot rotis
