
Ingredients:
• 1/4 kg – Green chilli
• 1/4 kg – Tomatoes
• 200 g – Tamarind
• 4 tsp – chilli powder
• Gingili oil, to fry
• Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – Fenugreek
• 1 tsp – mustard
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak tamarind in water and keep it aside.
- Slit the green chillies.
- Keep oil in a pan and heat it, splutter mustard, add fenugreek, curry leaves, green chillies and saute them till it turns brown.
- Then add the tomatoes, tamarind water, chilli powder, salt and mix them well and saute them.
- Keep on stirring and when it becomes a thick paste and when the oil separates, take it off from the stove and allow it cool.
