Ingredients:

• 1 tin condensed Milk
• 4 tbsp- chopped glazed Pineapple
• 3 to 4 drops- Pineapple essence
• 1 full coconut, grated

Method:

  1. To Prepare Khova:
  2. Empty a tin condensed milk in a microwave proof dish.
  3. Cook without covering, on medium power for 5 minutes, stirring twice.
  4. Cook further on medium low (30%) power for 10-12 minutes, stirring every two minutes till you have khova of required consistency.
  5. Remember that the khova will continue to cook for few more minutes while cooling and become slightly thicker.
  6. Cool completely, knead till smooth and use as required.
  7. To Prepare Hawa
  8. an Confections:
  9. Prepare one recipe easy sweet khova.
  10. Chop 4 tbsp of glazed pineapple into tiny pieces. Mix with 3-4 drops of pineapple essence and reserve.
  11. Ease the flesh out of one big fresh coconut. Scrape away the brown skin.
  12. Grate the flesh using a sharp vegetable grater. (Let the gratings be of medium thickness).
  13. Roast the grated coconut in a thick kadai till golden brown. (do not use any fat)
  14. Cool and add 1/2 of coconut to the khova. Add pineapple pieces and essence. Mix well.
  15. Shape into marble size balls. Roll in remaining coconut. Place in small paper cups. Store in decorative boxes. Keeps for 2-3 days at room temperature and longer in the refrigerator.
