
Ingredients:
• 10 thin plain soup sticks
• 5 slices soft white bread
• 1/2 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Mint leaves, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Poppy Seeds
• 1 tbsp grated, cheese
• 1/2 tsp- paprika or 1/4 tsp red chilli, crushed coarsely
• salt to taste
• 1 tbsp- dry bread crumbs
• 2 tbsp – Milk
Method:
- Remove stiff crusts of bread slices.
- Mix all ingredients except sticks, bread slices, milk.
- Cut each slice into 2 rectangular halves.
- Sprinkle some milk on a slice, allow to moisten.
- Press gently with a rolling pin to flatten.
- Place one stick at one long end of rectangle.
- Roll carefully, to cover stick with slice.
- Roll this in the mixture and be careful not to open it.
- Arrange on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake in a hot oven, at 180 C till slices are crisp and golden.
- Serve hot with soups.
