Ingredients:
• 500 g – Mutton or Chicken mince
• 2 – onions, chopped finely
• 1 tbsp – Parsley or coriander leaves, chopped
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – Tomato sauce
• 2 tsp – pepper powder
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 – Egg beaten
• 3 tbsp – breadcrumbs
• 6 – burger buns
• Slices of – Tomato and Cucumber
Method:
- Mix the mince with onions, parsley, salt, tomato sauce and pepper powder.
- Divide into 6 equal sized balls.
- Flatten and shape into patties.
- Heat oil in a flat pan.
- Dip each patty in the beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs then shallow fry 3 or 4 at a time till cooked and golden brown.
- Place between 2 halves of a burger bun along with a slice of tomato, cucumber and a dash of sauce.
