Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Mutton
• 1/2 kg – basmati Rice
• 150 g – onion, finely sliced
• 150 g – Tomato
• 4 – green chilli, sliced
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 cup – Curd (preferably sour)
• 4 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 100 g – oil (preferably groundnut oil)
• small piece – Cinnamon
• 1- Clove
• 1 – Cardamom
• salt
• Coriander leaves
• Mint leaves
• To Grind :
• 50 g – Garlic (1 full)
• 50 g – Ginger
• 1 inch – Cinnamon
• 4 – Cloves
Method:
- Heat the oil in the pressure cooker.
- Add cinnamon, clove and cardamom.
- Add onion and fry.
- Add tomato and fry.
- Add mutton and the ground ginger-garlic paste and fry.
- When the aroma is released, add chilli powder
- Add green chilli, curd, salt and lemon juice.
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Bring the flame to the sim mode for 5 mins and switch off the cooker.
- Add rice, enough water to cook and salt, and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- After pressure is released, add some lemon juice.
- Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
- Mix without breaking the rice and serve.
