Ingredients:

• 8 – idlis
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – Ginger-garlic paste (optional)
• 1 – Onion
• 1/2 – Cabbage
• 1 – Capsicum
• 2 – Green chillies
• Coriander
• Salt
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1/2 tsp – Black pepper (grounded)

Method:

  1. Finely chop all the vegetables.
  2. Heat oil and add ginger/garlic paste and fry.
  3. Then add tomatoes and cook well and then add salt, red chilli powder, jeera, black pepper.
  4. Now take a separate frying pan, grease it with very little oil and green chillies and the remaining vegetables.
  5. Lastly, add capsicum and fry till cabbage and onion turn golden.
  6. Add this to the tomato paste.
  7. Place four idlis in a plate and top with the desired quantity of the above vegetable mixture.
  8. The fried vegetables can also be used on an omelette as a health breakfast.
