
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Potato (pieces)
• 1/2 cup – Green peas
• 1 – Onion (Chopped)
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Fennel seed powder
• 2 tbsp – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Oil
• Salt
• Assembling the calzone:
• 1 – Pizza dough
• 1/2 cup – Grated cheese
• Few drops of oil
Method:
- Heat oil, add the chopped onion with fennel seed powder, saute until it turns translucent.
- Add the potato pieces, green peas, garam masala powder, red chilli powder with enough salt.
- Stir everything for a while and sprinkle some water; simmer with lid closed.
- Once the oil separates, add the chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove and keep aside.
- Assembling the calzone:
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Divide the pizza dough into two.
- Spoon the potato-green peas masala onto half of the dough, sprinkle grated cheese over the masala, cover with the other half and give it a press with your fingers or with a fork.
- Brush the calzone with few drops of oil.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Serve hot with salad or soup.
