Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Potato (pieces)
• 1/2 cup – Green peas
• 1 – Onion (Chopped)
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Fennel seed powder
• 2 tbsp – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Oil
• Salt
• Assembling the calzone:
• 1 – Pizza dough
• 1/2 cup – Grated cheese
• Few drops of oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil, add the chopped onion with fennel seed powder, saute until it turns translucent.
  2. Add the potato pieces, green peas, garam masala powder, red chilli powder with enough salt.
  3. Stir everything for a while and sprinkle some water; simmer with lid closed.
  4. Once the oil separates, add the chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove and keep aside.
  5. Assembling the calzone:
  6. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  7. Divide the pizza dough into two.
  8. Spoon the potato-green peas masala onto half of the dough, sprinkle grated cheese over the masala, cover with the other half and give it a press with your fingers or with a fork.
  9. Brush the calzone with few drops of oil.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes.
  11. Serve hot with salad or soup.
