
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – frozen cooked Jackfruit seed
• 1/2 cup – fresh peas
• 1 – Onion (finely chopped)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 2 tbsp – Coconut
• 5 – Cashew nuts (soaked for 30 minutes)
• 1 tsp – poppy seed (soaked for 30 minutes)
• 1/2 tsp – fennel
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 1 inch stick – Cinnamon
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Salt – to taste
• 1/2 tbsp – oil
• Coriander – to garnish
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf, cinnamon and onions. Fry till onion turns golden brown.
- Add jackfruit seed and peas. Saute for a few minutes.
- Add water, salt and garam masala. Cover and cook on medium flame.
- Meanwhile, grind coconut, chillies, cashew, poppy seed, and fennel.
- Add this masala to the contents in the pan.
- Cook till the curry thickens.
- Garnish with coriander.
- Serve hot with any Indian bread.
