
Ingredients:
• 1 – Lauki
• 1 cup – besan
• A pinch of cooking soda
• 1/2 cup – Onion paste
• 1/2 cup – Tomato puree
• 1/2 tsp – Cashew nut powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Coconut and kaska powder
• 1.5 tsp – Red Chilli
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 tsp – Butter
• Green chilli paste
• A pinch of Turmeric powder
• Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• Oil
Method:
- Grate lauki and squeeze the water from it.
- Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add tomato puree and stir till it leaves oil.
- Add onion paste.
- Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, cashew powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt to taste.
- Add besan to lauki, green chilli paste, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt, and soda.
- Knead it and make balls out of it.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry.
- Add the fried kofta to gravy and garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot.
