Ingredients:

• 250 g – Paneer
• 3 – Capsicum
• 4 – Onions
• 4 – Tomatoes
• 1 (long piece) – Ginger
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 – Bay Leaves (tej patta)
• 4 – Cloves
• 1 – Cinnamon
• A little Orange colour
• Salt to taste
• 4 tbsp – clarified Butter

Method:

  1. Cut paneer and capsicum into long pieces.
  2. Grind together the onions, tomatoes, ginger, salt, red chilli powder and orange colour.
  3. Mince the cloves and cinnamon.
  4. Heat the clarified butter in a pan.
  5. Add the bay leaves and minced cloves and cinnamon.
  6. Mix the onion-tomato-ginger paste to it.
  7. Cook on medium flame until the butter begins to ooze from the masala.
  8. Add the paneer and capsicum pieces and cook on low flame.
  9. Remove from the flame once the capsicum pieces are well-cooked.
  10. Serve with nan or paratha.
