Kansar is well-known Gujarati sweet recipe. Kansar is made from wheat flour, jaggery and ghee. Gujarati people consider kansar as a best treat for the special occasions like weddings, it’s expected to cook Kansar and have the newlywed couple taste it to bring happiness in their new life. So, let’s make this Kansar at home in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

– 3 cup Whole wheat flour
– 3 cup water
– 2 cup Jaggery
– 1 cup Ghee

How To Make?

1. Add whole wheat flour in a bowl and then add 1 tablespoon ghee and mix them well.
2. Now, put the thick bottom pan on a HIGH flame and add water to it and let it boil. Then add jaggery to it and let it boil again.
3. Now, reduce the flame and add whole wheat flour to it and mix them well. Stir it continuously for 10 minutes.
4. Cover the pan and cook it for 5-10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
5. Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle powder sugar and ghee into the kansar and serve hot.

Preparation Time: 10-15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 25 Minutes
