Ingredients:
• 6 to 8 – rajali Bananas/ yellow Bananas
• 4 tbsp – clarified Butter
• 2 to 3 – Cloves
• a pinch salt
• ½ cup – Sugar
Method:
- Chop the bananas into thick slices. Heat the butter in a flat bottom pan and add the cloves.
- Let them splutter to release their flavor.
- Then add the sliced bananas to the pan and stir well.
- Add more butter if necessary so that the sliced banana is well coated and doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
- Cover the pan to allow the bananas to cook.
- Stir occasionally.
- Ordinary bananas will take about 2 minutes, the rajali a little longer, to be done.
- Two minutes after the bananas have been sauteed add the sugar.
- Ordinary bananas require a little less than 1.5 cup of sugar because they are inherently sweet.
- Continue cooking them till the sugar dissolves and bubbles in the pan.
