Ingredients:
• Chicken – 5 thighs, 5 Drumsticks
• Tomato – 2
• Onion – 1 big
• Green chillies – 6
• Coconut Milk -1 cup
• Curry leaves – few
• Chicken masala – 2 tsp
• To grind to a paste:
• Cloves – 3
• Cinnamon stick – 1/2 inch piece
• Ginger – A small piece
• Garlic – 3 Cloves
• Aniseed – 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Slice the onion and keep aside.
- Grind all the spices into a smooth paste.
- Heat a pan and saute the onion in oil till golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and green chillies.
- Add the chicken masala and the ground paste and fry it till the oil separates.
- Add the cleaned chicken pieces into this and mix well.
- Add a little water to it and close the lid and cook on medium flame.
- When the meat is well cooked, add the coconut milk.
- Stir well, add curry leaves and remove from fire.
