Ingredients:

• 4 little thick khakras
• 1 papad
• 1/4 tsp – each Cumin and Mustard Seeds
• 2 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp – Lemon juice
• Salt as per taste
• 1.5 cup – water
• 4-5 Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Coriander leaves (finely chopped)

Method:

  1. Break the khakras and papads into 1″ pieces roughly
  2. Add oil in a sauce pan
  3. Add seeds to splutter
  4. Add curry leaves
  5. Add water, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt
  6. Bring water to boil
  7. When it begins to boil add khakras and papad pieces
  8. Cook on slow flame till khakras and papads are soft
  9. Add lemon juice
  10. Allow most of the water to soak
  11. Do not make too dry
  12. Add coriander leaves
  13. It should be mushy to eat
  14. Serve hot
