
Ingredients:
• 4 little thick khakras
• 1 papad
• 1/4 tsp – each Cumin and Mustard Seeds
• 2 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp – Lemon juice
• Salt as per taste
• 1.5 cup – water
• 4-5 Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Method:
- Break the khakras and papads into 1″ pieces roughly
- Add oil in a sauce pan
- Add seeds to splutter
- Add curry leaves
- Add water, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt
- Bring water to boil
- When it begins to boil add khakras and papad pieces
- Cook on slow flame till khakras and papads are soft
- Add lemon juice
- Allow most of the water to soak
- Do not make too dry
- Add coriander leaves
- It should be mushy to eat
- Serve hot
