
Ingredients:
• 2.5 cups – Wheat flour
• 1/2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 tsp – active Dry yeast
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1/2 cup – warm Milk
• 1/4 cup – warm water (if required)
• Oil to Deep Fried
Method:
- Add sugar to warmed milk.
- Sprinkle yeast over it, cover and keep aside.
- Mix flour and salt, and rub in butter to blend well.
- When yeast mixture becomes frothy, add to flour.
- Mix flour and knead to a smooth soft pliable dough.
- Keep covered for 30 mins.
- Take a ping-pong sized lump of dough, roll into a thick nan or roti.
- Deep fried in hot oil, till puffed and light golden and soft.
- Repeat with rest of dough.
- Serve hot.
