
Ingredients:
• For koftas:
• Paneer – 500 g
• Boiled Potatoes – 3
• Green chillies – 3
• salt
• Crushed Almonds – 1/2 cup
• Raisins – 1/2 cup
• Corn flour – 2 tbsp
• For gravy:
• Onions – 1 cup
• Garlic-ginger paste – 2 tbsp
• Tomatoes – 1/2 cup
• chilli powder – 1 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
• Turmeric – 1 tsp
• Mawa/Milk powder – 1/2 cup
• Water – 1.5 cups
• Sour Cream – 1/2 cup
• Sugar
• oil
Method:
- Mash boiled potatoes, paneer, chopped green chillies, almonds, salt and corn flour together.
- Make small round balls and put a few raisins inside each kofta and flatten them.
- Heat oil and fry koftas till they are brown in colour.
- Drain it and keep it aside in a serving dish.
- For the gravy:
- Heat oil and fry onion paste for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Add garlic-ginger paste and fry it till it is dry.
- Add blended tomatoes and fry it.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric, salt, chilli powder and cook for 8-10 mins till all the water dries up.
- Mix mawa in water and add this to the pan. Let it boil for 3 minutes.
- Add some sour cream till the gravy is thickened. Add sugar to it.
- Pour the gravy on the koftas.
- Whisk the remaining sour cream and garnish it on top.
