Ingredients:
• half boiled arbi (colocasia) – 1 kg
• Rice flour – 1/2 cup
• water – 1/4 cup
• oil – 4 tsp
• 2 – medium sized chopped Onions
• 4 – green chilles finelly chopped
• ajwain – 1/2 tsp
• turmuric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• finelly chopped coriander
• salt to taste
Method:
- Cut the arbi into medium sized pieces.
- Add some water to rice flour to make a thick paste add turmeric, salt, red chilli into it and add arbi and mix it well.
- Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Put some oil in a frying pan.
- Now add ajwain into it as soon as it start splutter, add finely chopped green chillies and onions.
- Fry till onions turn golden brown.
- Add arbi in it and cook for 10 min on a medium flame with a lid on it.
- After 10 minutes open the lid and cook it again for 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
