
Ingredients:
• 1 cup -bisquick powder or jamun mix
• 1 cup -shredded Cabbage or Spinach
• 1 cup -shredded Onions
• 1 cup -tomato puree
• 2 tsp -salt
• 2 tsp -red chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp -jeera
• 1 tsp -garam masala powder
• 2tsp – Butter
• oil
• fresh Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Mix 1 cup of bisquick mix with 1 cup of shredded cabbage or spinach.
- Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp chilli powder.
- Add very little water to make dough.
- Make small balls out of this mixture.
- Deep fry these kofta-balls, keep aside.
- For the gravy:
- Heat a non-stick pan.
- Add 2 tsp butter and a little oil.
- Add jeera.
- When jeera splutters, add shredded onion and fry till golden brown.
- Add tomato puree and keep on stirring till the oil separates.
- Add some water, salt and chilli powder.
- Let it boil for 2 minutes.
- Add garam masala.
- When the mixture thickens, add kofta balls.
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
