Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Rice vermicelli
• Green chillies, chopped – 3-4
• Curry leaves
• Coriander leaves
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tbsp
• Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
• Black gram (urad dal) – 1 tbsp
• Channa dal – 1 tbsp
• Peanuts – 2 tbsp
• Turmeric – 1 tsp
• Oil – 5-6 tbsp
• Lemon juice – 3-4 tbsp (or according to your taste)
• Salt
Method:
- Take the rice vermicelli in a bowl, add boiling water to it and cover with a lid.
- Allow it to soak for 15-20 minutes or until the vermicelli has absorbed the water. (do not leave for long)
- Drain the water by putting vermicelli into a sieve and leave it for a while in the sieve until the water has completely drained.
- Add oil into a wok and when the oil is hot, add mustard, cumin, urad dal, channa dal and peanuts.
- Let them turn brown, then add turmeric, coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chillies.
- Turn down the heat and add vermicelli, salt and lemon juice.
- Mix well and serve.
