Ingredients:
• For crust:
• 1 cup – plain flour
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1/4 cup – cold water
• For Filling:
• 3 cup – pigeon peas (lilva)
• 1 cup – Green peas
• 1 tbsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 2 chopped Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – chopped coriander
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – amchur powder
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• a pinch of Hing
• salt as per taste
• coriander powder
Method:
- Take all ingredients needed for the crust and knead them into a soft dough.
- Keep the dough aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Take pigeon peas and green peas in a grinder and whip them roughly.
- Take the chopped peas in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients to them.
- Mix well and divide the filling into 12 portions.
- Roll a medium-sized puri and stuff it with this mixture.
- Fold and make a smooth small ball.
- Repeat the step and make the remaining balls too.
- Deep fry them in oil and serve hot with green chutney.
