
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – All-purpose flour
• 2 -Eggs
• 1/2 cup – Butter (room temperature)
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Baking soda
• 1 tsp – Baking powder
• 1 tsp – Vanilla extract
• 1 cup – Buttermilk
• Juices from 2 limes
• 1 tbsp – Lime zest
• 1/4 tsp – Salt

Method:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
- Combine the flour with baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- Beat the butter and sugar together until it turns soft.
- Add the eggs one by one, add the vanilla extract, lime juice and lime zest, slowly add the flour and buttermilk and fold into a smooth batter.
- Pour the cake batter into a greased mould or a silicon round mould and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown.
- Mix the sugar and juice till it turns into a thick glaze. If it is thin add more sugar.
- Remove the cake from the mould, pour the glaze over the cake and spread evenly.
- Decorate with chocolate sprinkles.
