Ingredients:
• Channa dal – 1.5 cups
• Chopped Onions – 1 cup
• Green chillies – 2
• Red Chillies – 2
• Salt to taste
• Carrot (Grated) – 1/2 cup
• Curry leaves (Chopped) – 7
• Mint leaves – 2 tbsp
• Grated Coconut – 3 tbsp
Method:
- Soak channa dal in water for up to 3 hours.
- Drain the water and grind it with the chillies into a thick paste. The paste should be thick and coarse.
- Add onions, salt, curry leaves, carrots, mint leaves and coconut to the paste.
- Make small balls and flatten it. Deep fry in oil until golden brown.
- Serve hot.
