Ingredients:

• 8-10 – baby Potatoes
• 1-2 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 2-3 tbsp – Tomato sauce
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – coriander-cumin powder
• 1 cup – water
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Kasuri Methi for garnishing
• Cornflour paste if needed
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash the potatoes and boil them with a little salt (do not overcook).
  2. Peel the skin and keep the potatoes aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  4. When the seeds are done, add ginger-garlic paste.
  5. Add tomato sauce/paste when the ginger-garlic paste is done.
  6. Cook for a few minutes.
  7. Add the garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric and coriander-cumin powder.
  8. Add water and bring to boil.
  9. Add some cornflour paste if the gravy is too watery.
  10. Garnish with kasuri methi.
  11. Serve hot with roti or rice.
