Ingredients:
• 3 cups – tapioca (peeled and diced)
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• A few Curry leaves
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 2 tsp – Coconut oil
• Salt – to taste
• To Grind:
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut
• 3 – Garlic Cloves
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 3 – Green chillies
Method:
- Cook the diced tapiocas with enough salt and water until they get well cooked.
- Drain the water and mash it well.
- Meanwhile, grind all the ingredients given under the list “to grind ” as fine paste.
- Now take the grounded paste, turmeric powder in a vessel and cook on simmer for few minutes.
- Finally add the mashed tapioca, mix everything well, check for salt and put off the stove.
- Heat the coconut oil, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
- Add immediately the onions, curry leaves and cook until the onions turn translucent.
- Add this to the cooked and mashed tapioca.
- Toss everything gently and serve warm with rice or porridge.
