
Ingredients:
• 1 – medium sized melon
• 1.5 liter – Milk
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 1 small packet – custard powder
• 1/2 cup – Butter or Cream
• Essence
Method:
- Mix custard powder and sugar with some cold milk.
- Boil rest of the milk.
- When it comes to a boil add the custard and sugar in boiling milk.
- Mash flesh of melon well and keep aside.
- Add butter to boiled milk, when it cools a little, pour in ice tray and refrigerate.
- When set, remove from fridge, beat well with an egg beater, add mashed melon and mix well now add essence too.
- Mix well, pour in ice trays and refrigerate to settle.
- Once set, the ice cream is ready.
- Decorate with nuts.
