
Ingredients:
• 3 bunches – fresh Fenugreek leaves
• 20 gms – groundnut
• 6-8 – Green chillies
• a small rasagolla size – Tamarind
• a small Lime size – Jaggery
• 2 tsp – oil (for seasoning)
Method:
- Wash and chop finely the fenugreek leaves.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and to this add a little mustard seed, cumin seeds and when it crackles add chopped green chillies, a pinch of turmeric powder and saute.
- When the chillies are fried, add groundnuts and fry
- Add the chopped fenugreek leaves, jaggery, salt to taste and cook for a while and add tamarind after removing from the fire.
- Cool it and grind to a fine paste.
- Goes well with chapatti or hot rice or even with plain rawa dosa.
