
Mexican pumpkin punch is a delicious cinnamon and pumpkin based cocktail recipe. It is little bit time consuming recipe but it’s very delicious, yummy and worth trying cocktail recipe during Halloween. You can also add rum with pineapple chunks at the time of servings.
Ingredients
– 4 cup can pure pumpkin
– 4 cinnamon sticks
– 2 cups dark brown sugar
– 2 lemons
– Pineapple chunks, for servings
How To Make?
1. In a large pot, add 12 cups water, brown sugar and cinnamon sticks and bring to a boil over a HIGH-MEDIUM heat.
2. Keep stirring it until the sugar completely dissolves.
3. Stir in the pumpkin and again simmer it.
4. Now, remove the zest from the lemons and add it to the pot and again simmer it for 10-15 minutes.
5. then place it into refrigerator to cool for 2-3 hours and the pumpkin pulp settles to the bottom of the pot.
6. Now, ladle the fluid into a fine strainer set over a glass pitcher. Remove the pulp and lemon zest.
7. Again add the cinnamon sticks to the punch and set it into refrigerator until it prepared to serve.
8. Pour the glasses with ice and pour the punch into the glasses and add pineapple pieces to it and serve it.
