
Ingredients:
• 1 – radish, peeled and grated
• 2 – carrots, peeled and grated
• 1 – ginger, grated.
• 1/2 tsp – ajwain
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – green chilli, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp – green coriander leaves, finely chopped
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• For dough:
• Take whole Wheat flour and water and knead it as we knead for normal roti
Method:
- Take grated radish in your hand, a small quantity at a time, and press it with your palms to remove all water and dry it.
- Do the same with remaining radish and with carrots too.
- Now mix radish, carrot, ajwain, black pepper, red chilli powder, green chilli and coriander. Don’t mix salt.
- Make a small roll from the dough and flatten it in a way so that the centre of it will be a little thick.
- Take 2 tbsp of mixture in separate plate and mix a pinch of salt to it and promptly stuff it in the flattened roll.
- Flatten it and roll it out. Place on hot tawa.
- Keep it on a medium heat so that it can cook well.
- Cook on both sides till golden brown.
- Serve hot with curd and butter.
