Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Thick Poha/Thick Beaten Rice flakes
• 2 cups – Thick yogurt
• 1/2 cup – Water
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1.5 tsp – Urad dal/Split skinned black gram
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger gratings
• 1 – Green chilli, slit lengthwise
• 2 – Coriander leaves/Cilantro sprigs
• 1 – Curry leaves sprig
• 2 tsp – Oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Take beaten rice flakes in a bowl.
- Clean them with running water and drain completely.
- Crackle mustard seeds and urad dal in oil.
- As they crackle add green chillies, ginger gratings, curry leaves, coriander leaves and saute.
- Remove it off the flame.
- To the drained beaten rice kept aside, add yogurt, water, salt to taste and mix well.
- Add the seasoning prepared on top.
- Give a mix and garnish with cilantro
