Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Thick Poha/Thick Beaten Rice flakes
• 2 cups – Thick yogurt
• 1/2 cup – Water
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1.5 tsp – Urad dal/Split skinned black gram
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger gratings
• 1 – Green chilli, slit lengthwise
• 2 – Coriander leaves/Cilantro sprigs
• 1 – Curry leaves sprig
• 2 tsp – Oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take beaten rice flakes in a bowl.
  2. Clean them with running water and drain completely.
  3. Crackle mustard seeds and urad dal in oil.
  4. As they crackle add green chillies, ginger gratings, curry leaves, coriander leaves and saute.
  5. Remove it off the flame.
  6. To the drained beaten rice kept aside, add yogurt, water, salt to taste and mix well.
  7. Add the seasoning prepared on top.
  8. Give a mix and garnish with cilantro
