Ingredients:

• 1 medium sized cup – black til
• 1 medium sized cup – Urad Dal
• 2 medium sized cups – Red Chillies
• 1.5 medium sized cup – Channa dal
• 1 tsp – Hing
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Dry roast black til and keep aside.
  2. Roast urad daal, red chillies and chana daal separately in oil.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. In a mixer, add the black til, chana dal, urad dal and red chillies.
  5. Add some salt to taste.
  6. Grind the above to a fine powder.
  7. Add hing, mix well.
  8. Serve with a teaspoon of ghee.
