Ingredients:

• 1 cup – radish grated
• 1 – Tomato chopped
• 1 spring – Curry leaves
• 1/8 tsp – mustard
• 1/8 tsp – cumin
• A pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1/8 tsp – Turmeric
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Ginger crushed
• 1 tsp – sesame seeds
• Handful – Coriander leaves
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, mustard, dals and splutter
  2. Add curry leaves and ginger saute for a min.
  3. Add asafoetida, tomatoes, salt and turmeric, fry till the tomatoes turn pulpy
  4. Add red chilli powder, saute add grated radish and fry on a high flame till it is fully cooked, for 10 mins.
  5. Add coriander leaves, saute and add sesame seeds and fry for a minute. Serve.
